Community
WebVisible maintains very close ties with the local community and the technology industry. Resisting considerable early pressure from venture capitalists to move the company to the Silicon Valley, we headquartered in Irvine, California. Adjacent to UC Irvine in University Research Park, we partner with the university on business research and student development projects and regularly employ and mentor students and aspiring technology entrepreneurs in Southern California.
Part of being a small business advocate is being an active member of our community. Through our WebVisible Works Wonders charitable group, our team members have fun participating in events that help build and give back to our local community. Some of our recent charitable functions include the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Toy Drive for Salvation Army, Working Wardrobes clothing drives and the sprint 2009 MS Walk.
Our CEO, Kirsten Mangers is a frequent guest speaker and contributor to the Orange County Venture Group, a volunteer-driven community networking organization focused on venture capital activities in Orange County; and the Tech Coast Venture Network, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to assisting, educating and connecting Southern California entrepreneurs and emerging companies with capital and resources. Additionally, she has spoken at Los Angeles Venture Association, TechBiz Connection, AccessEN and other technology and entrepreneurial group events.
