How do I know if I should implement a keyword recommendation?
We advise that you carefully review all keyword recommendations. Keyword addition recommendations are a time-saving tool to help you implement new keywords to maximize your campaign, and will not necessarily help you achieve your CPA or CPC goal. In fact, adding new keywords will increase your daily ad spend and may actually have a negative effect on your Initiative goal.
There are times when you'll want to add new keywords, such as when you're adding a new product or service to your site, or if you're new to search engine marketing and setting up your first campaign. However, if your campaign is meeting the goals you've set, we suggest that you be very cautious when adding new keywords.
If you decide to implement new keywords, we recommend that you set up a separate campaign, assign the new keywords to it, and track those results. When there is enough data, WebVisible Enterprise will make recommendations on those keywords.
